‘Model T’ - Manufactured by American based Ford Motor Company and was the most famous vehicle model during 1915’s. This champ model was introduced to the market in the year 1908. ‘T’ was also called by the name Leaping Lena, Tin Lizzie and Jitney by that time. Model T was popular because of its budgeted price which every middle-class people could afford. It was said as the cost of automobile was expensive during 1880’s until 1908.

T model was also said as the mass produced model between 1908-1927 because of high demand which lead to expansion of production by setting up a new overseas manufacturing unit in Manchester, England. Around 500,000 models got sold in the mid of 1914.
The model has come with 6 different variants: ‘Ford Model T Torpedo Runabout’, ‘Ford Model T Open Runabout’, ‘Ford Model T Roadster’, ‘Ford Model T Town Car’, ‘Ford Model T Coupe’ and ‘Ford Model T Touring Car’. The price of Model T touring has dropped from $950 in 1909 to $290 in 1926 with incredible journey of its success. With the mass production of Model T, it renowned as the large-scale organization in the international market. This made Ford Motor Company to sustain its position in automobile industry to present with using its own method called ‘Fordism’.

Model T comprised of 4-cylinder engine with 3 bearings L-head side valve producing 20hp at a top speed of 65–70 km/h, transmission with 2 forward and 1 reverse gears with foot pedals to control; hand lever is placed over the steering in-order to control spark and throttle. 10 Gallon fuel tank is placed beneath the front seat.
