2. Proportional - This proportional control device is made in such a way that to remove the On/Off control option. It slows down the power supply to heater as temperature reaches the given set-point. In Proportional Control system, the temperature will not reach over the given set-point and maintains the stable temperature. It can be done by switching the output on/off in short intervals of time in the 1:1 ratio, which is equivalent.


3. PID Control - Abbreviated as 'Proportional with Integral & Derivative Control, this device combines proportional control along with other two adjustments 'Integral & Derivative', helping the unit to compensate for system changes automatically.
